Mr. MacLean presented Transitions - What business are YOU in? at the annual Environmental Bankers Association Meeting in Scottsdale, AZ.

Mr. MacLean was interviewed and extensively quoted in the article Green is Good appearing in the latest issue of Fast Thinking, a Australian-based magazine similar in format and content to the US-based Wired magazine.

Mr. MacLean is also quoted in a recent issue of Industrial Safety and Hygiene News for his analysis of EHS performance.

Mr. MacLean's writings are receiving more and more attention. His work is frequently reprinted in various newsletters, magazines and internet-based information resources. For example:

PERC Reports adapted an article first appearing in Environmental Quality Management for their December 2005 issue, “The Shifting Roles of NGOs.”

The new Jersey State Fire Chief’s Association republished in their September 2004 newsletter, The Five Trumpet Journal the article “Preparing for an Uncertain Future,” which originally appeared in the June 2004 issue of  Environmental Protection magazine.

The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysis of India (ICFAI) has reprinted Mr. MacLean’s article “Environmental Reporting: Three Dimensions to Success” in their monthly magazine, ICFAI Reader, March 2004 and also in a recent book edited by E. Mrudula and V.R.P. Kashyap, Financial Reporting – Emerging Trends, published by the ICFAI University Press, Hyderabad, India.

The Ohio Manufacturer & Contractor business journal ran as a front page feature article “The Three Levels of Environmental Governance” in the January 2004 edition.

The National Association for EHS Management (NAEM) featured excerpts from Mr. MacLean's article, Corporate Environmental Organizations: Evolving Management Strategies, co-authored with Elizabeth Karan, in the September/October 2003 of the NAEM Network News.

The International Environmental Systems Update featured a story in the September 2003 issue about recent survey work by Mr. MacLean on superior EHS performance. A PDF version of the article is available.
